Susan Daley Garris
Jacksonville, Florida
I am primarily a figure artist. The human form is fascinating and beautiful which I am drawn to as an artist. My mediums are generally watercolor, charcol and graphite but I am expanding my creative process to include oils and landscapes.
I studied art at East Carolina University in the early 1980's. In the last few years I have begun in earnest to develope my skills by regularly attending figure drawing groups with live models, and taking classes at the local college. I have shown my work in various art shows, primarily through the Jacksonville Coalition of the Visual Arts (JCVA) and The Figure group associated with the Florida State College of Jacksonville (FSCJ) and show with local artists.
